Postalloy® DuraHard™ 2830-MCG
Postalloy® DuraHard™ 2830-MCG is a non-cracking metal-cored, gas shielded hard facing wire that
deposits high alloy matrix with a high volume of finely dispersed Chrome Free complex (Nb, V, B)
Carbides. It has extreme abrasion resistance under low and high stress conditions and retains hardness
at high temperatures. Crack-free deposits are possible with proper procedures. Its tough hard matrix
makes it ideal for edge retention.
The weld deposit is not machinable and will withstand hot wear applications up to 1100°F (593°C).
