Postalloy® DuraChrome™ 2834SS-SPL
Postalloy® DuraChrome™ 2834SS-SPL is a high chromium hardfacing alloy manufactured with a stainless steel strip that produces a high volume fraction of wear resistant chromium carbides in a tough alloy matrix that is designed for high abrasion or abrasion combined with moderate impact. Deposit will polish in service and is heat resistant to 1000 °F (538 °C). Use on low carbon mild steel, manganese, stainless, and low alloy steels.

Welding Procedure:
When welding out of position, use .045 (1.2mm) with reverse polarity and the lower range of amperages and voltages. Weld vertical down with 3/4" (19mm) wide weave beads. A gas cover will be helpful, especially when using a constant current power source and voltage sensing feeder.
