Postalloy® 2512-B
Postalloy® 2512-B: Conforms to AWS CoCr-B. Slightly harder and more wear resistant than 2506-B, due to increasing level of hard chromium carbides, but its impact resistance is somewhat lower and is also tougher to machine. Higher tungsten content improves the hot hardness properties at higher temperatures. Weld deposits also have a greater tendency to relief check if welding procedures are not closely monitored.
