Postalloy® 22
Postalloy® 22 is a high hardness, high speed tool steel electrode designed for applications where very sharp edge retention is a primary concern. Weld deposits consist of alloying elements including tungsten, molybdenum and vanadium. The micro structure in the as welded condition consists of partially tempered martensite with carbides and some retained austenite. the weld deposit maintains many of its properties at elevated temperatures.
