Postalloy® 2805-FCG
Postalloy® 2805-FCG is a flux-cored, nickel base alloy designed to protect forging die life. A precipitation hardenable nickel super alloy with exceptional high temperature mechanical properties. Alloyed with chromium, molybdenum, tungsten and cobalt to withstand stresses and oxidation at elevated temperatures up to 2000 °F (1100 °C). The weld deposit may stress relieve itself in the form of cracking. Postalloy® 2802-FCG is recommended as a underlay.
