POSTALLOY® 2756-FCG is a highly alloyed iron base chromium-moly-tungsten-vanadium hot-work tool steels. POSTALLOY® 2756-FCG is enriched with higher levels of alloys and has better wear resistance than standard alloys like H-12. It resists wear from shock, heat-checking, scaling and erosion at temperatures up to 1100ºF (593°C). It is heat-treatable and has very good dimensional stability. In addition, when used for “cold” cutting, shearing and trimming applications, weld deposits have excellent resistance to chipping.
